March 11, 2003 Primary Election

The City of Goodyear conducted a Primary Election on March 11, 2003.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 9-821.01(A) and Section 2-3-1 of Article 2-3 of Chapter 2 of the Goodyear City Code, adoption of Resolution 03-861 declares the following elected in the Primary Election by having received a simple majority of the votes cast.

A total of 2,508 ballots were cast. To receive a simple majority, candidates needed 1,255 votes. This is the formula of 50% of the ballots cast plus one ballot. Total Registered Voters for the City is 10,431. Voter participation was 25.09%.
