Citizen Survey

400 Households Randomly Interviewed by Telephone

Surveys give citizens a forum - a voice - to express their opinions and rate the city's performance in key service areas. Surveying our citizens to gauge their levels of satisfaction with the community they live in is one of the highest forms of citizen participation in government. This provides an opportunity for the City Council to hear from a representative sample of the "silent majority" that seldom or never contact the City or come forward at meetings.

The 2012 survey was conducted in late October 2011 by Behavior Research, Inc. which did the previous survey as well. Results of the survey are compared with prior surveys whenever the questions were the same in all years.
