The City of Goodyear Community Funding program provides direct monetary grants to non-profit agencies and organizations that provide health, human services and quality of life programs to Goodyear residents.
Application submittals for 2014-15 are now CLOSED. Check back in Spring 2015 for information about the 2015-16 Community Funding Program.
A complete application includes:

- 2014-15 City of Goodyear Community Funding Worksheet
- A cover letter, no longer than one page in length, briefly describing your Board of Directors and/or key staff.
*The Application and Worksheet should be downloaded and completed electronically. You will need to email the cover letter and both forms to Christine.McMurdy@Goodyearaz.gov. The forms cannot be uploaded through the City’s website.
City staff will perform a technical review of each application to determine completeness and ensure the applicant is eligible as a non-profit agency. All eligible applications will be forwarded to a City Council subcommittee for further review and ranking. Subcommittee recommendations will be forwarded to the full City Council for final approval. Award recipients will receive funding in July 2014. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application before the end of June 2014.
There is a limited amount of funding available. The City cannot fund requests from religious organizations. The service, program or project should be one that is not replicated by the City or another organization/business in Goodyear. This program cannot grant funds to individuals.
